Meet 8am Redbank Plaza Shopping Centre Car Park for 8:30am sharp departure.
When we reach the QR racing precinct and prior to paying at the gate, we will line up nose to tail before heading in as a group to park together.
This will be a typical QR event where there will be food and drinks for sale with seating available on the hill, but feel free to bring along a picnic and the obligatory tables and chairs.

Sunday 5th – Independence Day Run – Club Run
This run is in conjuction with the Thunderbird Club. 11th Annual American Independence Day Cruise to Wivenhoe Dam, all American vehicles and Hot Rods, meet Viking Drive South, Wacol UBD217 G7, 9am for 9.30am departure, it's free, informal and fun. BYO chairs, food, drink etc.

Sunday 5th – Logan PCYC Family Fun Day – Event of Interest
Logan PCYC, Wembly Rd. 9am-2pm, general entry $5, under 18's free, cars, bikes, rods and rigs, free bands, trade stands, free kids rides, animal farm, all money raised to help Logan's youth, for info Ph Michele (07) 3442 1714.

Saturday 18th - Willowbank Drags – Club Run

For those who are interested in giving their cars a run down the strip, we are organising to attend a Willowbank ‘Test n Tune’. (more info at: www.willowbank-raceway.com.au ). As this is a regular event for Willowbank we will be in their hands. Depending on the number of cars (not just ours) we may get one run or four.

Requirements for a car -

Times:
The gates open at 4.00 pm and racing starts at 4.30pm, so if we meet at 3.00pm at Viking Drive, Wacol and head to Willowbank at 3.15pm.

Sunday 23rd - Combined car club run.
Where: Mareeba Airport
Why: To join with the war birds air show to  make the biggest wings and Wheels show the far north has seen.

All cars on show will gain free entry
On arrival cars will be directed where to park
All cars will be parked on the tarmac
Due to insurance issues we must be parked and settled no later than 8.55am gates open to the public at 9am.
Late arrivals may not be able to gain entry into the display/public area, and therefore will not be part of the show.
If you want to be parked next to someone then make sure you arrive together.
Food and drinks available - Show winds up about 3 pm
Meet at the smithfield shopping centre or just head up. But must be ready to leave no later than 7.30 am  for a run up the range that should put us at the airport no later than 8.45
Not much shade bring hats, sunscreen and chairs.
Be careful turning into airport oncoming traffic travelling at  100 kms hr
Police not amused if we cause traffic hold ups
